The diagram above shows the ER Diagram for the proposed database. The diagram shows the database of students who have enrolled themselves in some education degree. One student may have more than one degree but, one student may study only one degree at a time. There is a degree details entity that contains the degree_id and the details of the degree. Each degree_id has many degree_details that states the description of the degree. Each degree_id has many degree such as doctorate degree, bachelor degree, and master degree. All these degrees are different entities in the ERD. The Doctorate Degree entity has unique key as doctorate_id that defines the id of each student for what he is studying. The Master Degree entity also has master_id as a unique identification for identifying students possessing master degree. The Bachelor Degree entity has bachelor_id as unique key for identifying the students. There are many other attributes in the entity that gives the details of the entity.
There is a degree details entity that contains the degree_id and the details of the degree. Each degree_id has many degree_details that states the description of the degree. Each degree_id has many degree such as doctorate degree, bachelor degree, and master degree. All these degrees are different entities in the ERD.
The primary key for the Student entity is Student_ID.
The primary key for the Degree_Details entity is Degree_ID.
The primary key for the Bachelor Degree entity is Bachelor_ID
The primary key for the Master Degree entity is Master_ID.
The primary key for the Doctorate Degree entity is Doctorate_ID.
