Cloud computing is an emerging technology which is used by the many organization for storing the data. The online storage through the cloud is becoming popular as it helps the organization to reduce the overhead cost (Eldred,  Adams& Good, 2015, p.56-79).  There are many benefits of cloud computing, however, there are also certain challenges and issues regarding the application of the cloud computing. The main objective of this paper is to discuss different present challenges and issues and the possible future challenges and issues regarding the implementation of the cloud computing (García-Valls,  Cucinotta & Lu, 2014,p.726). The identification of these issues will help to improvise the whole cloud computing architecture. The information has gathered from different sources and journals. The discussion on the different issues has been done on various perspective. In some cases, the some of the recommendations are made on the basis of the problem.
Cloud computing has various advantages for the storage of the data. It has been seen the facility of the cloud storage has been taken by the organizations as well as individual people. There are various deployment models of cloud computing (Ahmed &Gani, 2015,p.52). The selection of the type of deployment is done on the basis of the requirements of the organization or the individuals. There are many advantages of using the cloud computing. However, there are certainissues regarding cloud computing those are faced by the ICT professionals. Some of these problems will be discussed in this paper. The identification of the problems will help to mitigate the issues regarding the application of the cloud computing.
Safety and security
One of main concern regarding the cloud computing is safety and security of the information stored in the cloud. The data stored in the cloud is sensitive and confidential in nature. The online storage in the cloud architecture makes the data prone to the data breaches. It has been seen that data breaches from the cloud storage is increasing day by day.
There are various methods of cloud deployment model. There are three types of cloud model- hybrid cloud, public and private cloud (Sadiku, Musa,  &Momoh, 2014, p.34). In most of the cases public cloud is used for the storage. The security system at public cloud is weaker than the private cloud (Singh & Chana, 2016,p.217). Moreover the security of protecting the data in cloud storage is the responsibility of the third party cloud service providing vendor. In case of private cloud the negotiation about the security is done between organization and the cloud providing vendors. In that case, the customization of the security service can be improvised. However, in case of public cloud there is less chances of negotiation.
The most important feature of the cloud storage is the availability of the data stored in the cloud. However, this positive attribute is affected by the technical problems. Sometimes it has been seen that the cloud server is not working in a proper way. In that case retrieval of data and the accessing of the data become problematic.
The maintenance of the server is dependent on the  cloud service provider. However, it has been seen that the service and maintenance of the infrastructure of the cloud provider is varying for different cloud provider companies. In this case, the selection of the cloud provider is needed to be done carefully.
It can be said that the cloud providers still lack of round the clock service. The monitoring of the performance is important maintaining the scalability of the service along with enhancement of the SLA.
Lack of expert people
The implementation of the cloud computing is becoming very popular. However, there are lack of expert people handling this technology (Puthal, Mishra & Swain, 2015, p.116). This makes the professionals of cloud architecture expensive to hire. The challenges regarding hiring the experts in handling cloud architecture and cloud is increasing. In this case, the situation can be managed through giving proper training to the professionals and the individuals about managing and handling the cloud architecture.
Lack of adaptation strategy
Adaptation of the cloud computing in an organization needs proper strategy and infrastructure. However, in most of the cases, the organizations are failed to have the proper infrastructure for the adoption of the cloud computing architecture (Rao  &Selvamani,  2015, p.38). The lack of infrastructure in the organization can become a future problem for the organization for the adaptation of  the cloud computing in the companies. It has been seen that the absence of proper infrastructure has led to the failure of the implementation of cloud computing. In order to improve the situation the proper management plan regarding the adaptation of the cloud architecture is needed to be done.
Failure of adaptation of the cloud computing can be happened in case, if there is a lack of expert people in the organization (Darwish &Hassanien, 2017, p.16). The proper project management planning is needed to be done for the implementation of the cloud in the organization (Ali, Khan &Vasilakos, 2015, p.357). Apart from that the policy makers in the companies and the organizations are needed to develop the policy that will indicate the ways for handling the cloud architecture. Apart from that there should be proper training needed to be given to the employees of the organization regarding handling of the cloud architecture. The absence of all these factors will led to the failure of the cloud adaptation in the organization.
The lack of proper infrastructure is another reason for the failure of the adaptation of the cloud computing. Implementation of the cloud computing enables the mitigation of the overhead cost of the companies. In the cloud storage the organizations do not need to take care of the i9nfrastructures for the storing of data (Moghaddam & Ahmadi, 2015, p.34). However, implementation of the cloud computing needs proper system and infrastructure. Many organizations do not have proper infrastructure to implement the cloud architecture in a proper way.
Governance and maintenance
Maintenance and the governance is an important issue regarding the data stored in the cloud storage. Primarily, the data stored in the cloud architecture is maintained by the third part cloud vendor. In that case, the control of the data is the responsibility of the cloud provider (Ali, Khan, &Vasilakos, 2015). Security and the privacy of the stored data cannot be managed by the companies. In that case, no improvisation can be made by the companies regarding the security of the data. In some cases, the misunderstanding and absence of proper negotiation between the organizations and  cloud service provider may hamper the maintenance and governance process of the data stored in the cloud storage. In order to mitigate various uncertainties and technical problems related to transition of the data to cloud IT organizations should develop policies regarding maintenance of the information in the cloud computing.
Complexity of building the private cloud:
The private cloud provides the customized cloud services to the organization. The content of the private cloud can be accessed by the employees of the organizations only. The security in private cloud is better compared to the security in the public cloud. However, implementation complexity and the cost of implementation of the private cloud are complex and high respectively (Madni, Latiff,&Coulibaly, 2016, p.173). In most of the companies the adaptation of the hybrid cloud is done. In hybrid cloud partial information are stored in the public cloud and the confidential and sensitive information related to the business of the organization is stored in the private cloud (Sen, 2014,p.24). The implementation of this type of cloud architecture gives the highest form of security however, implementation of this kind of deployment needs knowledgeable and experience experts. All these factors make the deployment of the hybrid cloud both complex and complicated project.
Apart from that the security negotiation of the information stored in hybrid cloud is a complicated process. The negotiation and the development of the policies for the maintenance of the data and the information stored in the hybrid cloud is done after the discussion between the cloud provider and the service taking organization.
The discussion is done regarding the different problems in the cloud architecture. Cloud computing architecture is an emerging technology which has many advantages over the conventional data storage system. However, there are certain problems and challenges regarding the deployment of the cloud computing. These include present and the future issues and the problems. Some of the major issues has been discussed in this discussion along with the mitigation plan. It can be said that proper steps for the mitigation of these issues will help the cloud architecture to deliver the fruitful results to the industries and business sectors as well as the use of the individual people.
Different articles have discussed the problems in the cloud computing form the different perspective. However, every mitigation plan has been described in the paper. The detailed guideline has not been discussed in those papers, only the plan of the mitigation has been proposed. It can be recommended that implementation of the cloud computing by the individuals and the organizations can be successful it it is implemented in a right way following the proper guidelines.
