During its expansion, Bounce Fitness left the Centres to function as independent units. In the interests of increasing customer satisfaction, Bounce Fitness has decided to standardise the way in which the centres operate. Complaints received initiated this change. They intend to use the same systems which will be developed and documented in Head Office, the same customer service techniques, and the same fitness class routines which will be changed monthly and again through Head Office.   The Board and Executive are very keen but expect resistance from the Personal Trainers who all believe that they create better routines than the Head Office could. The Centres, staff and clients have not been informed yet.You have been charged with the responsibility of developing a detailed organisational development plan for this initiative which clearly addresses what is to be developed and why and how development will occur.

1.Conduct a Brainstorming session with six others from your training group for 20 minutes about alternative proposals and negotiate and agree on outcomes for implementation of organisation development activities. From the observation of Brainstorming session assessor will check following:
1.The meeting room was comfortable and prepared before the participants arrive2.Nominated a recorder to write ideas on a flip chart, data projector, or whiteboard as they are called out3.Defined the problem concisely and clearly. Describe any criteria that must be met. Explain that the purpose is to generate as many ideas as possible.
4.Allowed time for people to develop their own ideas at the commencement of the session5.Requested that individuals call out their ideas at the commencement of the session.6.Encouraged everyone to build on the ideas for others or use them as a base to build new ideas.7.Fostered Enthusiastic, uncritical attitudes among the group. Worked hard to get everyone think of ideas and share-especially the quiet ones.8.During the session, no one criticizes or evaluates the ideas of anyone or themselves because it will close down the creativity.9.Encouraged people to have fun. Look for crazy off-the-wall ideas, madly impractical and totally practical.10.Do not let session bogged down on one idea for too long.
2.You need to demonstrate your ability to interact with staff to improve their performance by addressing the team as their leader/Manager. Your trainer & Assessor will act as the Personal Trainer who has displayed resistance to learning new routines supplied by Head office and continues to use to their own. You need to choose a technique to get the personal trainer to support the development and use the routines.
You will be observed by your assessor for following:1.Aligned team members around organisational strategy and values2.Built unity in a time of change3.Explained clearly4.Answered questions appropriately and accurately5.Persuasive and influential6.Encouraged ‘buy-in’7.Listened carefully and answered accurately


Meeting room that is searched for requires spacious place for completion of the project
Ideas are written on whiteboard
Proper definition of terminologies required in completion of the project
Preparing creativity sessions for the employees
Evaluation of the ideas that are commenced
Instilling enthusiasm and interest in the completion of the project
Making sure that during the course of completion of the project the creative ideas that are evaluated does not get criticized as this will ensure that the processing of the ideas will get diminished in order to keep the employees focused and keep up the creative work
Ensure that the people stays happy

2.You will be observed by your assessor for following:

Aligned team members around organizational strategy and values

I will be aligning the stakeholders of the organization, leading to the fact that the data management will be procured with the help of the processing of the organizational hierarchy in an efficient manner

Built unity in a time of change

Building unity in the time of change will lead to the fact that will ensure that the data management of the project will performed with higher proficiency.

Explained clearly

Explaining the terminologies clearly, will ensure the fact that the data management of the business organization is performed with utmost efficiency and the employees of the organization gain in depth knowledge regarding the business management of Bounce fitness.

Answered questions appropriately and accurately

Answering questions appropriately will help in processing of data management and the data that will be shared for the better understanding of the project will definitely increase the understanding regarding better business planning

Persuasive and influential

Being persuasive and influential will include the fact that the business management will get easier and the processing of the entire process will get more efficient with each passing day.

Encouraged ‘buy-in’

Encouraging ‘buy-in’ will act as the major part of the project as the entire project is completely dependent on collecting revenue and selling of products will be the most important part of the project.   

Listened carefully and answered accurately

After listening to the queries that are present in the mind of external stakeholders, it gets important that the questions that are present in the mindset of external stakeholders gets properly informed about the products and services that are provided by Bounce fitness organization.
