Task 1:  case Study

Methods of utilizing participation techniques with the employees in order to explore the advantages and disadvantages. Identification of the most viable option.

The first participation technique that will be implemented is to empower employees. Incorporating employees during the meeting session will help the management to understand the advantages and disadvantages of the options from the perspective of the employee (Bailey et al. 2018). Apart from that, the managers will be able to enhance the performance Moreover, rotating the leader will further aid this process by enabling all the team members to contribute their fair share. Employee participation can be increased by rotating the position of the project leader.
The most viable approach that can enhance the sale of furniture on a rapid basis includes diversifying the product range in order to include middle and lower range priced good.

Method of initiating continuous improvement related to the selected option. Process of communicating the changes with the stakeholders

In order to ensure the more low and medium ranged products are being manufactured, firstly, employees should be provided with effective training. The effectiveness of the training program should be monitored periodically. Secondly, along with the price range, diversity should be brought in the types of furniture offered to the consumers in order to gain competitive advantage  the invested cost and the revenue obtained after selling lower and middle ranged furniture needs to be tracked by the management in order to assess the amount of profit obtained.
In order to communicate these initiatives with the employees official email can be considered to be an effective communication tool. Meetings should be held with the distributors of raw material in order to let them know about the initiatives to be taken.

 Process of ensuring that the chosen option has met sustainability requirements
Firstly, in order to enhance job satisfaction of the employees and enhance their skill of resource management, employees should be provided with efficient training programmed.
Implement effective strategies to limit the usage of water and energy
Implement the strategy of wood harvesting to combat deforestation.
4. Proposal to senior management outlining how mentoring  along with coaching can enhance current circumstances

The senior management,
In order to deal with the current situation, mentoring and providing coaching to the employees can be considered as one of the most effective remedies of the current decrement in sale of the A2Z organization. Firstly, coaching will help the employees to enhance their working capability and thus will enhance the quality of their work. Secondly, it will provide better understanding of the task to the employees. Having a better understanding of task in turn will enhance their job satisfaction of the employees which will prevent attrition of skilled employees. Finally, mentoring will help in developing the interpersonal skills of the employees. All this will enhance the quality of product offered by the company to the consumers.

Issues associated with the team performance

One of the major problems that have been noticed within the organization includes lack of cultural competence within the employees. Considering the fact that the workforce of A2Z organization is a culturally diverse workforce, cultural conflict is highly common in the organization. /in the following table, the mentioned issues has been analyzed in detail.

The management of the organization is being affected indirectly. Lack of bonding within the team will lower the performance of the team which in turn will adversely affect the company.

Secondly, periodic meeting should be conducted with the employees in order to understand their weaknesses or issues they are facing. Along with that, the price variation of the competitors should be assessed on a regular basis to understand the current price range of furniture in the market (Armstrong and Taylor 2014).
In case it has been found out that the operational progress is not up to the mark, the loopholes of the action will be detected through regular monitoring. Identification of the loopholes will be followed by actions to eradicate the same. For instance, if employees are found to be facing the issue of cultural incompetence, an on job training and education will be provided to them with the knowledge of the importance of cultural competence. In order to communicate the adjustment to the team and other stakeholder, meeting should be conducted with the same.
